(Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation) engineering group, contributing to the successful implementation of upgrade and replacement projects across a portfolio of water and wastewater treatment sites operated and maintained by EPS.This position offers an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic, forward-thinking company, where you will work collaboratively with our Operations, Maintenance, and Process teams to deliver essential plant upgrades and improvement projects.Your work will directly enhance the performance, reliability, and sustainability of critical water and wastewater infrastructure across Ireland.As part of our growing team, you will be responsible for the engineering activities to allow for the capital upgrades on plant and equipment on municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plants, drinking water treatment plants and various pumping stations.No two days will be the same, so your activities will vary and will be agreed with the Operational Area Manager on an ongoing basis.You will support the operation and maintenance team through the process up to and including the onsite installation and commissioning.The role isoffice and site based with a mixture of both depending on location and project involved.Key Responsibilities: Project management of all aspects ofwaterandwastewaterpumping and treatment installations primarily focused on Mechanical/Electrical/ICArequirements with minorcivilworks included Co-ordinatingsafetyandliaisingwith EPS Group HSQE Dept Liaising withthe design team in delivering innovative solutions & using modern technologies where possible on the existing works Managing strict budgets on multiple contracts that vary in size while delivering the best outcome for both EPS and the client Procurementof all items required for project delivery Creating theproject programand ensuring that all required project interfaces are allowed for, from design to final site commissioning & handover Liaising & coordinatingall works with the client and relevant stakeholders Managementof allsite labourincluding subcontractors Ensuring projects are completedsafely, on time and within budget Writingengineeringreports,method statements and commissioning schedules Responsible for all O&M and Health & Safety documentation and enforcement of safe work practices onsite during all site installations Key Competencies and Skills: Have proven experience in an engineering role in a Mechanical & Electricalenvironment Proficiency in PC skills to include MS office and Project software is advantageous Good inter-personal and communication skills Strong engineering, analytical and problem-solving skills Strong collaborative skills with an ability to work effectively in a team environment Have a willingness to learn and be challenged in the water and wastewater Industry Interest in implementing opportunities and initiatives in a time restricted schedule Develop specific goals and plans to prioritise, organise and accomplish stated deadlines Qualifications: Third level Mechanical/ Electrical or Automation Engineering degree Similar relevant third level qualification
