We are seeking a highly skilled Medication Coordinator to join our team.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering prescriptions and refills into our pharmacy system, as well as communicating with nurses at facilities regarding clarifications or requests.
Key responsibilities include:
* Filling prescription orders for medicinal agents (oral, topical, parenteral, etc.)
* Determining prescription allocation for dosage, drug choice, administration, and potential interactions
* Supervising technicians in prescription data entry, packaging, labeling, and distribution tasks as needed
* Directing timely delivery of medications and supplies; answering pharmacy-related questions and assisting with problem solving using drug information systems
To be successful in this role, you must be a licensed Pharmacy Technician with the State of Georgia and a certified pharmacy technician. Additionally, you should possess knowledge and experience with Framework and DocuTrack, as well as long-term care pharmacy experience.

Work Schedule
This is a full-time position that involves working open hours, including Mondays through Saturdays, with rotating opening, closing, and Saturday shifts.
