About The Company
DPD Ireland leads the field in next day parcel delivery throughout Ireland, with 36 regionally based collection and delivery depots and a state of the art central sorting hub in Athlone, Co. Westmeath.
Purpose Of The Role
This role offers a great opportunity to start a Sales career in a dynamic and growing sector. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the sales team, they will be offering office based administrative support required by the Sales Department, as well as having direct contact with customers via phone and email regarding commercial queries.
This is a permanent role based in our Head Office in Athlone, Co. Westmeath.
Job Responsibilities
* Generate & review reports.
* Support data entry into Salesforce and compliance on Salesforce processes.
* Run daily sales reports.
* Customer analysis and review.
* Provide depot support.
* Deal with customers by phone and email.
* New account processing.
* Enquiry and prospect qualifying.
* Support a team of sales executives.
* Process account applications.
* Generate contract agreements.
The above list is not an exhaustive list of duties. You will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation.
Experience Preferred
* Previous experience with customer interaction is an advantage.
Skills Required
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Approachable and enthusiastic.
* Flexible and able to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
* Well organised with excellent attention to detail.
* Can work discretely with sensitive and confidential information.
* Strong IT skills are essential particularly with MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
