BDIC Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Electronic Engineering
We are seeking two temporary posts of BDIC Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Electronic Engineering within UCD School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
About the Role
The Beijing-Dublin International College (BDIC) is a recognised College of both BJUT and UCD, offering a range of dual degrees including a BE in Internet of Things Engineering (IoTE) and Electronic and Information Engineering (EiE).
Responsibilities
* Deliver modules on both degree programs at BDIC.
* Spend one trimester (approximately 20 weeks) in Beijing per academic year.
* Contribute to the School's research and administration activities in Dublin for the remaining part of the year.
Requirements
A significant time commitment in BDIC is an essential requirement. The successful candidate will be physically based in Beijing and teach in the Beijing Dublin International College (BDIC) for a period of 20 weeks (approximately) within a trimester for each academic year of this temporary 5-year post.
Appointment Details
Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
