The successful candidate will have proven experience in STM32 and low-power design, as well as firmware test coverage. Experience in medical device design is advantageous, as well as wireless communication.
ResponsibilitiesSTM32: Program and debug the STM32 family of microcontrollers with a focus on low-power architecturesLow-Power Design: Write code for power-constrained devices through implementing and managing different sleep modes, power-down states, and efficient interrupt handlingFW Test Coverage: Develop and implement robust test strategies, including unit, integration, and system-level tests with focus on requirements-based test coverage and documenting results for regulatory complianceHardware Experience: Collaborate with the hardware team and read schematics to understand PCB layouts and debug hardware–firmware interactionsIEC 62304: Knowledge of software development lifecycle processes, risk management, and software safety classificationsLow-Level Communication: Experience with I2C, SPI, and UARTWireless Communication: Experience with RF and BLE is a plusCRC: Experience implementing and using CRC algorithms for data integrity and error detectionAES: Experience with AES for secure data transmission and storageAltium: Familiarity with PCB layouts is a plus
