We are very excited to be working with a leading Medical Device client on a contract Scrum Master position.Previous Medical Device experience is required.Key ResponsibilitiesFacilitating and Coaching the Team on ScrumCoaching: Guide and coach the Scrum Team on how to use Agile and Scrum practices and principles. This includes coaching the team in self-organization and cross-functionality.Facilitating Scrum Events: Ensure all Scrum events—Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective—take place, are positive, productive, and kept within the timebox.Impediment Removal: Proactively identify and remove obstacles, roadblocks, or "impediments" that hinder the team's progress. This can involve resolving issues related to tools, resources, or process bottlenecks.Protecting the Team: Shield the Development Team from external distractions and unnecessary interference, allowing them to remain focused on the Sprint Goal.Continuous Improvement: Coach the team to continually improve their processes, practices, and definition of "Done" through effective Sprint Retrospectives.Supporting the Product OwnerBacklog Management: Help the Product Owner find techniques for effective Product Goal definition and Product Backlog management.Communication: Ensure goals, scope, and product domain are understood by everyone on the Scrum Team and external stakeholders.Stakeholder Collaboration: Facilitate stakeholder collaboration as requested or needed.Serving the OrganizationAgile Adoption: Lead, train, and coach the organization in its Scrum adoption, helping employees and stakeholders understand and enact an empirical approach for complex work.Removing Barriers: Help remove barriers between stakeholders and Scrum Teams.Collaboration: Work with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of Scrum application across the organization.RequirementsCertified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent certification.Experience in a Scrum Master role, typically 2-4+ years.Knowledge of an agile framework or method (e.g., Kanban, XP).Experience with Agile tools like Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps.Familiarity with software development or the domain in which the Scrum Team works.
