Capital Finance Analyst Role
We are seeking a highly skilled analyst to join our global capital finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive capital spend reviews, driving enhancements to the spend review analysis tool and process, and working closely with various departments to enhance the accuracy and effectiveness of capital project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough capital spend reviews to identify discrepancies in capital expenditures and implement rectification strategies.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to drive enhancements to the spend review analysis tool and overall process, ensuring seamless integration and data validation.
* Develop strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including Site Project Teams, Capital Procurement, Global Facilities Delivery (GFD) Project Controls, Information Technology (IT) Support Team, Suppliers, and Manufacturing and Quality (M&Q) Finance Leadership Teams.
Requirements:
* Demonstrate exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on detail-oriented accuracy and quality.
* Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
* Showcase proficiency in data analysis and validation techniques, with a strong understanding of construction contracts, contract compliance, and capital project controls.
* Possess a good understanding of financial regulations, including US GAAP/IFRS technical accounting.
Education and Qualifications:
* Hold an Accounting/Finance degree (Undergraduate or Master's as required for certification).
* Be certified as a CPA, CIMA, ACCA, Chartered Accountant or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Possess 2-3 years' post-qualified experience in a finance function or public accounting practice, preferably with knowledge of capital processes in a multinational environment.
Working Environment:
* This role is based in Cork, Ireland.
