* Medium sized tech company
* 5 days onsite initially - Dublin
* €135k - €150k base + health + 5% pension
Are you an adaptable IT leader who loves improving processes, challenging the status quo, and getting hands-on in driving change?
This is a newly created Chief Information Officer position with a medium-sized Irish tech company going through a period of strong growth and change. Reporting directly to the CEO, this person will play a key role in transforming how technology and operations run internally.
Unlike many senior IT leadership roles, this is not a big-team, high-level-only position — it's for someone who thrives in a "roll up your sleeves" environment. You'll be hands-on, embedded across the business, and working closely with senior leadership to make measurable improvements to systems, processes, and performance.
What You'll Be Doing
* Auditing and optimising the company's internal technology stack (mainly M365 and Azure).
* Leading process improvement initiatives across all departments — identifying inefficiencies, streamlining workflows, and introducing best practice frameworks like Lean or Six Sigma.
* Challenging current ways of working and driving change that enhances scalability, security, and efficiency.
* Leading small internal IT teams and projects, while collaborating with department heads and the executive team.
* Developing and implementing an internal technology roadmap aligned to business growth and service delivery goals.
* Bringing innovation and structure to a business that's scaling rapidly through both organic growth and acquisition.
What We're Looking For
* 10+ years in IT leadership, operations, or process improvement roles.
* Experience in an MSP or IT services environment preferred, but not essential.
* Strong track record of process transformation and change management.
* Comfortable working in a hands-on capacity with small teams
* Proven ability to challenge and improve existing systems and processes.
* A Lean Six Sigma Black Belt would be highly desirable.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Adaptable and open-minded — someone who's not been in one static role for the last decade.
Why Apply?
This is a fantastic opportunity to own the internal technology strategy of a scaling Irish company, work directly with the CEO and senior leadership team, and have a real, tangible impact on how the business operates.
If you're someone who loves driving improvement, enjoys autonomy, and wants to be part of a company on an upward trajectory, this could be the perfect next step.
