A fantastic opportunity to join the Sales and Marketing Team at The Connemara Coast Hotel.

We are hiring for a Meetings & Events Executive.

About The Connemara Coast

Spectacularly set on the Wild Atlantic Way and the shores of Galway Bay, our luxurious four-star Connemara Coast Hotel offers visitors an ideal base to explore Connemara and Galway. With grounds that sweep down to the water’s edge, it’s a perfect place to relax and enjoy stunning views across Galway Bay to the Burren of Co. Clare.

Responsibilities

* Respond promptly to hotel enquiries via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
* Present and communicate detailed information about hotel services, packages, and event offerings.
* Convert enquiries into bookings through professional and persuasive communication.

Meetings & Events Coordination:

* Assist with planning, coordination, and execution of meetings and events, especially weddings.
* Provide operational support, liaising with clients and suppliers, ensuring all details are attended to.
* Oversee event timelines and logistics for smooth execution and customer satisfaction.

Social Media Administration & Coordination:

* Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing team on social media strategies.
* Manage the hotel's social media accounts, posting regular content.
* Track and report social media performance, adjusting strategies as needed.

Review Platform Management and Database Housekeeping

* Respond to reviews on the hotel platform, providing feedback to relevant departments.
* Maintain and update CRM and PMS systems with accurate contact information.
* Ensure databases are current, organized, and functional for sales and event inquiries.

About The Role

Requirements

* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Experience in meetings, events, and weddings is desirable.
* Social media management experience and creative content skills.
* Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Canva; experience with Moposa and PMS is a plus.
* Previous sales or customer service experience is beneficial.
* Team player with effective collaboration skills.

Additional Information:

* Occasional weekend and evening work may be required.
* Training on specific software tools will be provided.
