Job Description
An experienced Manufacturing Engineer is required by Careerwise recruitment to work with a Galway based manufacturing company.
Role of this position
1. Responsible for new production introduction process (NPI) – including project planning, development and introduction of new products within the agreed development budget & scheduled introduction dates.
2. Lead on internal manufacturing processes/projects using PM methodologies (e.g LEAN).
3. Lead and support digitalisation installation or roll out projects.
4. Monitoring the progress of projects against agreed plans and managing activities to deliver against agreed goals.
5. Delivering processes into the manufacturing environment through effective selection of suitable technology and methods focused on Quality, Cost and Delivery.
6. Identify and roll out manufacturing improvements for existing products.
7. Support the wider team with new customer introductions and existing customer relationship management.
8. Assist with production planning and scheduling.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
9. L7/8 Electronics/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering discipline.
10. Proficient in LEAN and Six Sigma Tools.
11. Experience in a manufacturing environment.
12. Project experience.
13. Adaptable and flexible to work on multi products and engage with multiple customers.
