As Innovation & Partnerships Lead, you will sit right at the centre of that process.
You will help shape the ideas that become Life Scientific’s next generation of products.
Working across R&D, Regulatory, Commercial and external partners, you will guide how innovation moves from early concept through validation and into development.
Some ideas will evolve.
Some will pivot.
And that’s all part of building a strong, disciplined innovation pipeline.

What You’ll Do
Shape the Innovation Portfolio
Help guide Life Scientific’s innovation pipeline from early ideas through validation
Maintain a healthy pipeline of early-stage concepts, supporting the delivery of 8–10 validated projects each year
Lead stage-gate preparation and reviews, ensuring projects are moving forward with clarity and purpose
Work with technical and commercial teams to prioritise the most promising opportunities
Build Strategic Innovation Partnerships
Identify and engage technology partners, research organisations and innovation ecosystems
Evaluate opportunities involving:
Formulation or delivery technologies
Enabling technologies and platforms
Work with Legal and Regulatory teams to structure data sharing, partnerships and collaboration models
Connect Science, Regulation and Commercial Thinking
Act as the link between R&D, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Portfolio and Commercial teams
Translate scientific insights into clear innovation briefs and development opportunitiesEmbed regulatory thinking early so projects move forward smoothly
Prepare strong transfer packages as projects move into Development
Strengthen How Innovation Happens
Help build clear, effective governance for the innovation pipeline
Contribute to portfolio reviews and executive updates

What You Bring
You’ve worked in innovation, product development or portfolio environments where ideas turn into real products.
You’re comfortable working across disciplines and bringing different perspectives together.
You bring:
Strong judgement when evaluating new opportunities
The ability to understand technical concepts without needing to be the technical expert
Commercial awareness and curiosity about how products succeed in the market
Confidence working with internal stakeholders and external partners
Comfort operating in fast-moving, collaborative environments
Experience in crop protection, agrochemicals or agri-tech is highly valuable - but what matters most is your ability to connect ideas, people and opportunities.
