We are looking for a Senior Back-End Developer who is able to use the art of programming to deliver a top-class server code. The ideal candidate will have backend development knowledge, with solid experience in PHP, Laravel, and broad experience in system design and architecture.
Responsibilities:
* Participate in a team-oriented environment to develop heavy loaded web-based applications with complex business logic.
* Architecture of solutions to be developed across front and back end development teams.
* Develop new tools and applications by translating business requirements into Alison's system design.
* Maintain and upgrade existing applications.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement and make constructive suggestions for change.
Requirements:
* Advanced experience in PHP and Laravel framework.
* Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases; MySQL experience is a plus.
* Understanding of best practices for REST API development and microservices architecture.
* Knowledge and experience in AWS suite of tools and services is an advantage.
* Familiarity with the latest technologies and standards.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and a love of technical challenges.
* Must be self-motivated and able to multitask across projects.
* Used to rapid development in Agile, and working with associated toolsets (JIRA, Confluence).
