Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Day Service Operations Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional day services.
About the Role
1. Lead a dedicated team to deliver high-quality, person-led day services that support independence, inclusion, and individual choice.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to implement strategic objectives and develop new initiatives.
3. Ensure compliance with relevant standards, policies, and guidelines.
4. Support individuals in achieving meaningful outcomes through person-centred planning and community engagement.
5. Oversee service operations including clinical coordination, staffing, and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage day-to-day operations and contribute to service development.
2. Supervise and support staff teams, ensuring effective performance and development.
3. Foster partnerships with families, multidisciplinary teams (MDTs), and community stakeholders.
4. Promote inclusion, independence, and advocacy for service users.
5. Monitor and improve service quality, risk management, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A relevant professional qualification in Social Care or related field.
* Proven experience managing services for people with intellectual disabilities.
* Strong knowledge of relevant standards and supports.
* Excellent organisational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
