Are you passionate about promoting health, safety, and environmental compliance in the workplace?
We are seeking a proactive and experienced EHS Advisor to drive continuous improvement and ensure best practices across our operations.
In this role, you'll be at the forefront of maintaining a safe, sustainable, and compliant working environment in line with ISO ***** and ISO ***** standards.
Key Responsibilities
Health & Safety Compliance
Implement and maintain the company's Occupational Health & Safety Policy.
Conduct regular site inspections, toolbox talks, and internal safety audits.
Lead investigations into incidents and accidents; ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.
Oversee statutory training and certification compliance (e.g., GA1, Safe Pass, MEWP, Working at Height).
Support development and review of Risk Assessments, Method Statements (RAMS), and permit-to-work systems.
Environmental Compliance
Implement and monitor the company's Environmental Policy across project sites.
Collaborate with site teams to ensure effective management of waste, energy, and natural resources in line with client and legal requirements.
Support environmental and sustainability reporting, and help monitor compliance with environmental obligations.
Legal & Regulatory Compliance
Maintain the Legal & Compliance Register related to EHS and ensure it is reviewed and updated annually.
Ensure ongoing compliance with statutory, regulatory, and contractual EHS obligations.
Support audits, inspections, and client reviews by demonstrating robust compliance systems.
What We're Looking For
Relevant qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, or related field (Level 7/8 or equivalent).
Strong working knowledge of ISO ***** and ISO *****.
Proven experience conducting EHS audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
Strong communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
Experience in the construction or electrical contracting industry is desirable.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and digital reporting tools.
