We are seeking an exceptional Business Development Representative to join our team. As a Business Development Representative, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and increasing market share for our company.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct weekly sales calls to existing customers and cold call potential customers.
* Prepare weekly reports on sales activity and market analysis.
* Develop monthly strategies for sales calls and prepare travel calendars.
* Conduct area market analysis of top accounts in each region.
* Research area market product data to determine sales strategy.
* Grow market share by increasing sales and sales volume while maintaining company-approved product margin goals.
Requirements
To be successful as a Business Development Representative, you will need the following skills and qualifications:
* High school diploma and some college education preferred.
* Functional knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Lotus Notes/email.
* Clean driving record and reliable transportation required.
* 4 years prior selling experience and prior customer service experience preferred.
* Proven ability to work in an unstructured, unsupervised environment.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work under little or no supervision.
