L1 IT Support Engineer required for our client based in Dublin 2 (public sector)
This is a full time position with hybrid work structure 2 days a week on site
Responsibilities:
* Provide first-line technical support via phone, email, and ticketing system.
* Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and application issues.
* Escalate complex issues to appropriate support teams.
* Maintain accurate records of incidents and service requests.
* Work with IT teams and vendors to capture the risk and impact of proposed changes and ensure compliance with ITIL standards.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure changes are documented, communicated and implemented effectively
Requirements:
* Experience in a Service Desk or IT Support role
* 3rd level degree in a relevant discipline
* Familiarity with ITIL framework and change management principles.
* Strong knowledge of desktop / laptop hardware and software
* Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and applications
* Eligibility to work in Ireland
Salary: 35K p.a.
