Microbiological Expert Position
We are seeking a Microbiological Expert to join our established team in Wexford, Ireland. This position is dedicated to driving significant health impact globally through innovation.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a master's degree in microbiology with 1-2 years industry experience from the Food/Beverage Sector or Pharma/Med Device Micro background.
* Overall responsibility for the S2 Microbiology laboratory and work conducted therein, ensuring the highest safety standards
* Supervision of Microbiology staff and R&D technicians & work planning
* Function as the microbiological expert for our site, contributing to the research & development of new products
Please note that this role requires full-time presence in Wexford lab/office.
Key Responsibilities:
* Laboratory Operations: Oversee daily operations of the S2 Microbiology laboratory, ensuring adherence to strict safety protocols and maintaining high-quality results.
* Staff Supervision: Directly supervise Microbiology staff and R&D technicians, providing guidance on work planning and ensuring efficient workflow.
* Product Development: Function as the primary microbiological expert for our site, driving the research and development of innovative products that meet global health standards.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess a Master's degree in Microbiology and have 1-2 years of relevant industry experience in the Food/Beverage Sector or Pharma/Med Device Micro background.
