Occupational Therapist Our client is an inpatient mental health service, providing specialist neuropsychiatric care for adults with conditions such as Alzheimers, Parkinsons, Huntingtons disease, early onset dementia, schizophrenia, and mood disorders.
They are the only facility in Ireland offering highly specialised care for people with Huntingtons disease.
Care is delivered through a dedicated multidisciplinary team in a recovery-focused, therapeutic environment.
With over 200 staff, they pride themselves on delivering excellence in patient care while supporting staff wellbeing and development.
Role & Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist: Provide high-quality Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention.
Work with patients, families, and the MDT to set and achieve therapeutic goals.
Maintain accurate clinical records and deliver services in line with national standards.
Participate in supervision and contribute to governance and service development.
Requirements for the Occupational Therapist: Degree in Occupational Therapy and CORU registration.
Eligible for AOTI membership.
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations.
Patient-focused, enthusiastic, and IT proficient.
