Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Coordinator to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to accurately record, analyze data and generate reports.
* Manage supplies, parts and tools in a safe and efficient manner
* Undertake regular stocktakes to ensure accurate inventory levels
* Liaise with the procurement department to dispose of slow moving or obsolete stock
* Implement warranty procedures and maintain fuel and oil gauges in working order
About the Role
This is a key position within our organization, responsible for the day-to-day management of our garage stores. The successful candidate will be able to work independently, as well as part of a team, to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supply Chain Management: Order, receipt, store and issue supplies and parts as required
* Inventory Management: Conduct regular stocktakes, identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions
* Tool Management: Issue, receive and hold tools in safe custody
* Warranty Procedures: Implement warranty procedures as directed by senior management
* Fleet Maintenance: Ensure fuel and oil gauges and meters are maintained in working order
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
* A strong background in supply chain management or a related field
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Ability to accurately record and analyze data
* Knowledge of SAP, Excel, Word and email software
