At Crover House, we pride ourselves on delivering warm, memorable hospitality in a stunning lakeside setting. We are currently seeking a professional, friendly, and motivated Receptionist to become a valued part of our Front Office team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Welcome all guests with a warm and professional manner, ensuring a smooth and positive check-in/check-out experience
* Manage telephone and in-person enquiries efficiently and professionally
* Take and confirm reservations via phone, email, and booking platforms
* Perform accurate data entry of reservations and guest information
* Review daily and weekly arrivals and reservation lists to ensure accuracy
* Respond to guest requests, complaints, and feedback promptly, professionally, and with a solution-focused approach
* Promote in-house facilities and local attractions, enhancing the guest experience
* Uphold high standards of customer service and presentation at all times
* Ensure the security and proper handling of guest keys and confidential information
* Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless communication and guest satisfaction
Requirements:
* Minimum of 12 months' experience in a similar hotel receptionist role
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
* High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
* A positive, can-do attitude with a genuine interest in hospitality
* Formal training in hospitality or front office management is desirable
* Proficient in reservation systems is an advantage
* Must be flexible with working hours, including weekends, early mornings, and late evenings
