Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned Mechanical Project Manager to coordinate the design, procurement, and installation of mechanical systems in a pharma plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing project schedules, budgets, and contractors to ensure HVAC, piping, and utilities meet GMP standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan, budget, and schedule projects from conception to completion.
2. Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure client specifications are met.
3. Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
4. Establish and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
5. Manage the financial aspects of each project, including cost control, budgeting, and forecasting.
6. Ensure all work complies with relevant legislation, codes, and standards, including health and safety regulations.
7. Implement structures to monitor, review, and control budgeted or agreed expenditure.
8. Work closely with Directors and Site Managers to support and recommend strategies, identify potential risks or issues, and find an appropriate resolution.
9. Issue weekly progress reports to the client and engineering manager.
10. Issue monthly progress reports for Senior Management/Directors.
