This role supports the operation of the business by ensuring materials are received, processed, inventoried, picked, and distributed to customers in an orderly process.
Key Responsibilities:
· Receive and check stock from vendors, customers, internal shipments etc., completing appropriate paperwork during process.
· Put away stock in designated areas, recording locations during process.
· Pick and check stock for vendors, customers, internal shipments etc., completing appropriate paperwork during process.
· Contribute to a safe, accident-free, working environment by abiding by all safety procedures and policies.
Skills
· Excellent attention to detail.
· Ability to safely operate warehouse machinery and equipment.
· Team worker with the ability to collaborate with other material handlers.
Experience
· Previous experience in a similar role or in supply chain and logistics/warehousing.
· Experienced user of warehouse machinery e.g., forklift, power pallet truck etc.
Education/Licences
· Clean, B Licence.
· Machinery Certification – Forklift, Reach Truck, Power Pallet, Combi etc.
