The Landscape Operative will work as part of a site team delivering garden construction projects. This role involves both hard and soft landscaping tasks and requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting with garden construction projects from start to finish
- Hard landscaping works including:
* Paving, decking, and pathways
* Groundworks and site preparation
* Fencing, screening, and garden structures
* Soft landscaping works including:
* Planting trees, shrubs, and lawns
* Soil preparation and mulching
* Safe use of hand tools and power tools
* Loading and unloading materials and equipment
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised worksite
* Following health and safety procedures at all times
* Working effectively as part of a team and taking instruction from supervisors.
Requirements
* Previous experience in landscaping, construction, or outdoor work (preferred but not essential)
* Good physical fitness and willingness to carry out manual work
* Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
* Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
* Ability to work well in a team
* Good attention to detail
* Full driving licence (preferred but not essential)
* Manual Handling and Safe Pass / CSCS card (advantageous)
