We require a highly motivated individual to undertake the role of a QA Assistant to monitor and verify all food safety, legality and quality procedures as outlined within the companys Food Safety and Quality Management System whilst also ensuring health and safety. Key responsibilities include: Monitoring and verification checks throughout the factory, including temperature, CCPs and pre-requisite requirements Accurately complete all required paperwork Verify production check sheets Butchery checks to ensure that product meets customer specifications Internal auditing Investigate non-conformances Verify completed investigation of non-conformances and customer complaints Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and hygiene rules in the factory environment Assist in preparation for customer visits, third party and internal audits. Any other duties within the competency of the job as directed by management What were looking for: Experience in QA/QC or GMP environment Understanding of HACCP and BRC quality management systems - Qualifications in this area desirable but not essential.
