Line Maintenance Manager
Dublin Airport, Ireland
€100,000 – €110,000 per annum, Excellent Benefits
We are currently seeking an experienced Line Maintenance Manager to join a leading aviation maintenance organisation based at Dublin Airport.
This is a key leadership position within an EASA Part-145 approved organisation. The successful candidate will act as the Nominated Person for Line Maintenance, acceptable to the Authority in accordance with EASA Part 145.A.30(b), and will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and operational performance.
Reporting functionally to the Chief Operations Officer (COO) and with direct access to the Accountable Manager, you will be responsible for the effective management and oversight of all line maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Line Maintenance Department in compliance with EASA Part-145 requirements.
Ensure all line maintenance activities, including defect rectification, are performed to approved standards and procedures.
Support and promote the organisation's Safety Management System (SMS) and safety culture.
Review and process safety reports in accordance with established procedures.
Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions arising from audits, investigations, or compliance findings.
Ensure all maintenance personnel remain competent, trained, and appropriately authorised.
Develop and manage training and continuation training programmes.
Ensure sufficient staffing levels to support operational requirements.
Oversee the availability of facilities, tools, equipment, materials, and maintenance data necessary to perform maintenance activities.
Ensure effective production planning aligned with the scope and complexity of maintenance operations.
Monitor compliance with EASA and UK CAA regulations and company procedures.
Report any significant deficiencies affecting standards, compliance, or resources to the Accountable Manager.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years' experience within the aeronautical industry in a relevant management or supervisory role.
Relevant Aeronautical Engineering degree or Aircraft Maintenance Technician qualification.
EASA Part-66 Licence preferred.
Strong practical knowledge of aviation safety standards and safe operating practices.
Formal aircraft type training and sound technical knowledge of aircraft systems.
Thorough understanding of aircraft maintenance methods and procedures.
Working knowledge of EASA Part-145 requirements and UK CAA regulations.
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
EU Right to Work is mandatory.
