The Sequel Way is a welcoming and dynamic Inclusive health and fitness facility in Farranfore, dedicated to empowering clients of all levels - seniors, rehabilitation, neurodiverse and fitness newcomers. Our mission is to guide people toward real results through expert coaching and community support.
Role Overview
We're seeking an enthusiastic, reliable professional to lead 1:1 coaching and engaging group classes. You will deliver exceptional training, foster relationships and support business operations in a hands-on, all‑round role.
What You'll Do
1. Fitness Coaching & Programming
2. Deliver tailored personal training (1:1 and small-group sessions)
3. Lead diverse group fitness classes (circuits, strength and mobility)
4. Manage assessments, programming and progress tracking
5. Adapt workouts to individual needs including injuries and chronic conditions
6. Client Experience & Administration
7. Conduct client consultations, health screenings and assessments
8. Use systems for bookings, attendance and session records
9. Communicate promptly with clients—respond to enquiries, reschedule and provide ongoing support and motivation
10. Support drop-in challenges, membership upsells, and client retention
11. Facility Presentation & Safety
12. Maintain cleanliness and order of all equipment and training areas
13. Ensure health and safety compliance (equipment checks, cleaning rotas)
14. Assist with opening/closing duties and facility readiness
15. Content & Community Engagement
16. Capture photos/video (with consent) for social media
17. Help generate engaging content (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok)
18. Participate in brand storytelling—testimonials, transformation highlights
19. Assist with video programming for clients
20. Team Collaboration
21. Contribute ideas for programming, events and service improvements
22. Attend team meetings and complete ongoing professional development
23. Foster a supportive and positive facility culture
About You
* Qualifications: Level 3 Group Fitness Instructor & Level 4 Personal Trainer
* Experience: Minimum 1 year in PT or group instruction and/or personal training
* Skills: Strong interpersonal, organisational and tech skills
* Personal Traits: Adaptable, proactive, inclusive and motivational
Desirable Extras
* First Aid/CPR certification
* Experience with older adults, rehab or neurodiverse clients
* Social media content creation or editing skills
* Knowledge of legitfit, Canva, or Google Workspace
* Training or coursework in Adapted Physical Activity (APA)
