Quantity Surveyors/Cost Manager (intermediate & senior level) Westmeath/Sligo (Hybrid/Remote) €60-80k Required for an established Quantity Surveying & Project Management consultancy with multiple offices across Ireland With a diverse portfolio of exciting projects including residential, retail, educational, commercial, and leisure sectors, as well as various civil engineering projects.
They offer a supportive and collaborative environment which will equip the Quantity Surveyors with training, mentorship, and resources needed to thrive, including assistance through APC and CPD training programs.
Key Responsibilities: Depending on the level - oversee the Quantity Surveying function on various building projects, driving them to completion Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents Monitor project costs, manage cash flow, and ensure timely project delivery within budget Support and mentor junior level quantity surveyors Experience desired: Degree level qualification in Quantity Surveying (SCSI / RICS accreditation is desired) A strong foundation in cost planning, estimating, and commercial management across various sectors with proven success in project delivery Project experience should include a range of residential, commercial, retail, educational, data centre, sports & leisure or healthcare develpments Excellent communication and negotiation skills Confidence in managing complex projects Good knowledge of current forms of contracts High level of IT proficiency with knowledge of Cubit, Excel etc.
