We are seeking a highly motivated Credit Analyst to join an international Private Credit platform. As a Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing credit data and financial information and you will work closely with the senior Investment team to evaluate European investment opportunities and provide recommendations.
THE ROLE:
* Analyse credit data and financial information of potential borrowers
* Evaluate the creditworthiness of borrowers and determine the risk involved in lending money to them
* Prepare credit reports and make recommendations to the Investment team
* Monitor the creditworthiness of existing borrowers and provide regular updates to the Investment team
* Conduct industry research and stay up -to -date on market trends
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with regulations and policies
Requirements
o 3+ years of experience, ideally from a credit platform, credit -oriented fund manager or leverage finance desk
o Advanced Excel user and familiarity with data query/data management tools.
o Ability and desire to understand complex transaction -oriented credits.
o Strong communication skills with the ability and gravitas to present credibly, challenge and probe and to engage with varied and senior stakeholders
o Highly organised, goal oriented and solutions focused
