Offer description

As a replacement for the current employee who is moving, we are seeking an Office Administrator (Accountant) who is passionate and committed to joining our team. You will be responsible for the broad administration of the office and will work closely with staff members across Ireland and abroad.

The role offers a flexible mix of in-office and remote work, approximately +/- 20 hours per week.


Responsibilities and Duties:

* General office administration
* Dealing with email and phone queries
* Filing, maintaining documents, planning, and rosters
* Supporting the team with ad-hoc administrative duties
* Data entry
* Preparation of management accounts
* Assisting with project and quality reporting (ISO)
* Monthly reporting within strict deadlines
* Audit file preparation
* Monthly payroll
* Managing creditor’s and debtor’s ledgers, bank reconciliations, revenue returns, etc.


Qualifications and Skills:

* Proficiency in MS Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word)
* Experience with SURF / BRIGHT software
* Affinity with the port and shipping industry
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
* Ability to learn company-specific software
* Hands-on approach with strong work ethic and initiative
* Highly organized, flexible, and proactive
* High attention to detail
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Enthusiastic and able to work under pressure
