The role We are seeking a strategic, dynamic, and commercially focused leader to oversee and grow our Point of Care business – a community-based nursing and clinical pharmacy service dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care outside of the traditional hospital setting.
The Commercial Lead will be responsible for the full operational and financial performance of the business unit.
This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, strong leadership skills, and deep knowledge of the Irish healthcare landscape to drive innovation, efficiency, and sustainable growth.

Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership of the Point of Care business unit, ensuring its continued growth and success.Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities within the Irish healthcare sector.Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to shape commercial strategies and service offerings.Foster innovation in both service delivery and commercial models to maintain a competitive edge.Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders within existing accounts to maximise growth potential.Drive operational efficiency and cost optimisation across the Point of Care business.Ensure all commercial operations are fully compliant with healthcare regulations and internal policies.Implement and oversee quality control and regulatory compliance processes across all service offerings.Lead, inspire, and mentor teams within the Point of Care business to achieve performance targets and deliver outstanding patient care.Promote a collaborative, high-performing culture aligned with organisational values and goals.Guide the evolution and expansion of service offerings in line with emerging healthcare trends and customer needs.Provide senior management with regular updates on commercial performance, sales forecasts, and market developments.Take full P&L ownership for the Point of Care business, with accountability for budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance.Monitor KPIs and drive initiatives to achieve revenue and profitability targets.Represent the business at key industry events and conferences to cultivate strategic relationships and effectively promote service offerings.Skills, Experience & Requirements Proven commercial leadership experience within healthcare services, ideally with exposure to clinical pharmacy, community-based or nurse-led care models.Deep understanding of the Irish healthcare system, including public and private sectors.Demonstrated success in identifying and converting business development opportunities.Strong financial acumen, including experience managing P&L responsibilities.Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving cultural and operational change.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.A passion for innovation and delivering patient-centric care.How we'd like to work together Given the key outcomes expected from this role, it will be primarily based out of one of our Dublin offices.
However, a hybrid working model will also be available.
It's important to note that this role is not a traditional '9 to 5' position, as flexibility will be required to meet the demands and responsibilities associated with it.
