Bardenis delighted to partner exclusively with a highly respected, rapidly expanding organisation in Dublin to identify a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in accounting who is looking to further develop their skills within a collaborative and dynamic finance team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Perform monthly bank, credit card, and intercompany account reconciliations
2. Manage PAYE, VAT, and payroll control account reconciliations
3. Post monthly payroll and PAYE journals
4. Coordinate internal credit card and Revolut payment processes
5. Support the preparation and submission of VAT, VIES, and Intrastat returns
6. Assist with US sales tax compliance in collaboration with external accountants
7. Generate monthly sales, payroll, and cost reports to support month-end closing activities
About You
You’re a numbers-driven professional with a passion for accuracy and an eye for detail. You enjoy taking ownership of tasks, thrive in a team-focused environment, and are always looking for ways to improve processes and efficiencies.
You will ideally have:
1. 3–5 years’ experience in a similar finance or accounts assistant role
2. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a relevant diploma (or working towards one)
3. Part ACCA qualification (or a strong desire to pursue ACCA exams)
4. Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and overall IT proficiency
5. Experience with Microsoft Navision or Sage (desirable)
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
7. A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and strong organisational skills
