This is a customer-facing role that combines front-desk reception, in-store sales, and administrative support, including Shopify-based online sales and booking deliveries.Key Responsibilities:Reception Duties:Greet and welcome customers professionally.Answer phone calls and emails; handle inquiries and bookings.Provide information on products, services, and promotions.Maintain a clean and organised front desk area.Sales & Customer Service:Assist customers with product selection and advice.Process payments through POS (cash/card).Upsell and cross-sell products.Handle queries, complaints, and returns professionally.Ensure the sales floor is tidy and well-stocked.Shopify & Online Sales (if applicable):Update products and inventory on Shopify.Process online orders and manage stock coordination.Track analytics and support reporting on sales trends.Assist with social media content and promotions.Administrative & Store Support:Support with store opening/closing duties.Monitor stock and assist with inventory management.Help with merchandising and visual displays.Maintain accurate records of sales and customer interactions.Book deliveries and ensure timely dispatch coordination.Skills & Attributes:Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsCustomer-focused and professional attitudeStrong organisational and multitasking abilitiesPOS and basic cash handling experienceShopify experience or willingness to learnAble to work independently and within a teamQualifications & Experience:Previous experience in retail, customer service, or receptionist roles preferredHigh school diploma or equivalentFamiliarity with Shopify and online order processing is a plusAvailability to work the scheduled hours, including SaturdaysDesirable Qualities:Passion for retail and customer serviceCalm under pressure and problem-solving mindsetProactive and self-motivatedInterest in social media or online marketing (bonus)Job Type: Full-timeAbility to commute/relocate:Limerick City District, County Limerick: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)Experience:Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)Language:English (required)Work authorisation:Ireland (required)Work Location: In person
