As a Principal Analog Design Engineer you will be an analog expert for Infineon's extensive microcontroller development team. You will develop new solutions to challenging, multi-disciplinary problems. Experience with FinFET is very important for this role.
You will need to enable concurrent engineering by optimized block partitioning (Floorplan, Design Flow, deliverable, timeline)
You will be a leading member of a dynamic and experienced team and your technical knowledge will lead us to the next level in our mission of excellence.
In this role you will:
Act as go-to person foranalog and system designersto solve complex problems across the wholeautomotive microcontroller divisionand beyond
Play alead rolein thedefinition and development of mixed signal solutionsfor the next generation of automotive products
Work witharchitects and system engineersto defineIP and product specifications
Drive theverification requirements definition
Support IP test and characterizationinto high volume production
Ensure Functional Safety complianceacross the whole sub-system
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in high performance, reliable IC designs in CMOS.
As an Analog expert, an important part of your work will be mentoring and coaching junior and experienced engineers on Analog Design best practices. At Infineon the career development of our engineers is very important.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
Bachelor/Masters/PhD Degree in Electrical Engineeringor similar field with a focus on electronics
10+ years industry experience
Proven expertise in the whole Silicon product developmentincludingarchitecture, definition, development and test
Experience inFinFET schematicdesigns and interaction withFinFET Layout
Knowledge ofSignal Integrity solutions for high speed
Knowledge of requirement-driven development flows and requirement definition
Understanding ofsystem specificationsand translating into requirements atIP level
Familiarity withanalog front end and data recovery architectures for high speed PHYs
Experience withclock generation circuits such as oscillators, PLLas well as knowledge of various other analog circuits particularly usingFinFET geometries
An understanding ofIP development, chip integration, timing analysis, testability, and mixed signal verification
Excellent communication skills
Fluency in English is mandatory
