The Role
Sofina Foods EU is looking for motivated and reliable General Operatives to join our production team at the Callan site. Working on the afternoon shift, you'll play a key role in producing high-quality pork and bacon products to the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and quality.
This is a great opportunity to join a growing team in a well-established facility. Full onsite training will be provided, helping you build the skills needed to succeed and grow within a fast-paced food production environment.
Hours: Monday to Friday 2:30pm-11pm
Pay: €13.60 / hour
Your Key Responsibilities
As a General Operative, you will:
* Work across various production lines, adapting to different speeds and levels of complexity
* Operate machinery safely and in line with all food safety and health & safety protocols
* Follow the daily production plan, supporting with line set-up and material checks
* Perform all required hygiene, safety, and pre-start checks to maintain a safe and compliant working environment
* Ensure consistent product quality and accurate completion of production tasks
* Collaborate with your team to meet production goals and uphold site standards
* Maintain high levels of cleanliness and organisation in your work area
* Take a proactive approach to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
The Ideal Candidate
* Be comfortable working in a chilled environment for extended periods
* Be able to stand for over 4 hours and move around the production floor unaided
* Have a strong work ethic and a commitment to learning – full training will be provided
