We have an exciting opportunity for a bright Part Qualified Accountant with a luxury Retail/ Distribution multinational based in West Dublin. Acting as the right hand to the Finance Manager, you'll join a collaborative team of four in a fast-paced finance environment. This role offers broad exposure across the function, where you'll play a key part in supporting payables and receivables, while taking ownership of general ledger activities. You'll also contribute directly to the month-end close process across multiple entities, gaining valuable insight into the full accounting cycle and helping drive accuracy and efficiency across the team. Nice to know: Hybrid-3 days in office Parking onsite, easy access to Train and Luas 5% Pension and healthcare Study support available for exams Quarterly social events Join a fast-paced multinational environment Salary is DOE €45,000 - €50,000 Key Responsibilities: Support the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions and workflow of juniors on the team Prepare and post journal entries, maintaining the fixed asset register, including prepayments and accruals Perform weekly and monthly bank reconciliations across multiple currencies, investigating and resolving discrepancies Calculate and process monthly sales commission payments in line with company policies Prepare and submit VAT returns across multiple entities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations Assist with month-end and year-end close processes and monthly management accounts, ensuring deadlines are met Provide support during internal and external audits, including preparation of required documentation Contribute to wider finance activities and support ad-hoc projects as required Person Specification & Experience: Minimum of 3 plus years' relevant accounting experience Prior Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable experience preferred Experience with month end close and monthly management accounts Part Qualified Accountant - ACCA/CIMA etc Strong Excel / IT skills are critical for this role Must have experience with multi currencies Prior experience in consumer products and/or fashion industry, is a plus A team player who takes ownership and pride in delivering quality work Strong attention to detail while having the ability to adapt and work efficiently in a dynamic environment Great interpersonal skills, excellent communicator both verbally and written Knowledge of a mid-tier accounting system required: Netsuite knowledge a plus Skills: part qualified accountant assistant accountant ACCA CIMA accounts assistant Benefits: Work From Home hybrid pension VHI study support
