Here, you will find a culture guided by diversity and inclusion, talented peers, comprehensive benefits and career development opportunities.Primary ResponsibilitiesTechnical tool owner for financial forecasting models within the Optum Rx Pricing & Underwriting tool suiteCollaborate with business tool owner to ensure evolving business needs are fully understoodLead tool developers in accurately and promptly reflecting evolving business needs into the pricing models, including validation, documentation and communication of resultsEnsure continuity and connectivity with adjacent toolsRecommend enhancements to tool capabilities and user interface to improve speed to marketTranslate highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences including senior leadersQualificationsRequired QualificationsBachelor\'s degree (or higher) OR equivalent work experienceExperience with business concepts in financial forecasting and underwritingExperience developing tools and performing statistical analysis in Python or R (or similar software) using analytical platforms (e.g., Databricks, RStudio, Jupyter Notebook)Preferred QualificationsPart Qualified Actuary (AIA/AFA or equivalent) with minimum 5 years\' relevant work experience within Actuarial processesKnowledge of concepts and methodologies within US health careExperience with pricing & underwriting modelsSoft SkillsCommunication skills, capable of simplifying complex concepts for varied audiencesAdditional InformationPlease note you must currently be eligible to work and remain indefinitely without any restrictions in the country to which you are making an application.
