Morgan Mc Kinley is partnering with a client in the aviation and structured finance sector to recruit a Senior Financial Accountant.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates coming from practice or a Big 10 accounting background who are looking to apply their technical skills in a dynamic corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities Preparation of monthly cash reports and management of cash flow Calculation and processing of monthly payments Preparation of quarterly accounting information and reports Preparation of annual accounts and statutory filings Preparation of quarterly board papers and attendance at board meetings Approval and oversight of payments to third parties Monitoring compliance with corporate formalities and operative agreements Liaising with external stakeholders including auditors, legal advisors, and service providers Drafting board minutes and supporting governance processes Participation in special projects as required Candidate Requirements Qualified ACA / ACCA, recently qualified up to 2 years PQE Strong experience in accounting practice or Big 10 environment preferred Excellent Excel and reporting skills Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and take full ownership of deliverables Understanding of consolidation accounting principles Experience in aviation finance or structured finance advantageous Proactive, ambitious, and team-oriented with the ability to work under tight deadlines
