Job Description
As a Cloud Architect, you will play a key role in helping our clients navigate their journey to the cloud and develop and implement solutions to meet their business requirements.
You will be responsible for developing Cloud Strategies using experience in all domains including data, application, infrastructure, integration, security and business architecture.
Assist clients to accelerate their cloud adoption with the design and deployment of the EY Enterprise Cloud Landing Zones.
Develop strategic technology cloud roadmaps and assist clients to deliver on them.
Act as trusted advisor to our clients on their cloud journey.
Define target cloud patterns aligned with the implementation of enterprise systems.
Develop plans and strategies for replacing legacy technology systems, including cloud migration solutions and roadmaps.
Ability to confidently advise our clients on DevOps toolsets, automated testing, continuous security and implementation of these capabilities.
Help to build valued relationships with external clients and internal peers.
Understand all our service offerings, actively identify opportunities to better serve our clients and assist with business development and proposals.
Develop people through effectively supervising, coaching, and mentoring more junior members of staff.
Be responsible for your own self-development, and maintain an educational program to continually develop personal skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications
5-7 years of relevant experience working in a similar role/environment
Passion for Cloud Architecture and Engineering
Significant experience in one or more of the Enterprise Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and its relevant build, deployment, automation, networking and security technologies in cloud and hybrid environments
Experience in designing, deploying and implementing the migration from on-prem in large scale Cloud Strategies – Complete platform design and architecture
Advanced experience in Networking
Excellent communication, convey confidence and the ability to explain highly technical issues to varied audiences
Knowledge of 3rd party Security products such as Checkpoint, Fortigate and Cisco ASA, along with native cloud platform security services, Azure WAF, AWS WAF
Proficiency in Office 365 products such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive and Teams is an advantage
Exposure and hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code languages like Terraform, ARM, Bicep, Powershell, Python or similar
In-depth understanding of Microsoft Identity and Access Management products such as Azure AD, Azure AD Connect, Conditional Access, Azure AD Proxy, SAML and Active Directory Domain Services
Experience at providing technical leadership to project resources to meet project deadlines and ensure project objectives are met
Equivalent associate or Expert level vendor certifications on the Microsoft Stack, AWS, GCP, IBM Cloud
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
