We are currently recruiting for a Corporate Events Coordination Manager to be based at the RDS with an immediate start.
Job Title: Corporate Events Coordination Manager
Reporting to: General Manager
Location: RDS Rate of pay: €40,000 - €45,000 per annum
Working pattern: 40 hours per week across 5 days, Monday to Sunday
Job Purpose:
As the Event Coordinator Manager, the successful candidate will support the General Manager, the Head of Corporate Operations and the wider onsite Operational team with the delivery of events across the RDS, a premier event space that hosts a wide range of events, including a private Members' Club, the Dublin Horseshow, public and trade events, corporate conferences, galas, and more. The role will have a core focus on the delivery of Corporate Events, but will also support the delivery of events that fall across all other areas of the business. The role is a key component of the onsite RDS team and the ideal candidate will possess a blend of operational, administrative and commercial experience with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and team members, managed in line with client expectations and the Gather & Gather brand.
Main duties will include but are not limited to:
• Supporting the smooth and efficient functioning of the company's day to day operations
• Ensuring consistent communication, process alignment and administrative coordination across all onsite Gather & Gather teams
• Coordinate and manage operational activities and logistics within the organisations' onsite scope of delivery
• Support senior management and the wider operations team with reporting, scheduling and project tracking
• Ensure internal processes run smoothly and are compliant with all company policies and standards
• Coordinate daily catering operations, including event and order tracking, staff scheduling and event readiness; and
• Serve as a liaison between clients, back of house and logistics team, kitchen team and sales team to ensure the seamless execution of onsite events
Requirements for this role:
The successful candidate will ideally have the following attributes:
• Experience in an administrative, operational or coordinating role.
• Organisational and multitasking skills.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to work independently whilst at all times managing company priorities.
• Ability to manage multiple events and deadlines.
• Experience in a corporate or multi-departmental environment.
• An analytical mindset with a high attention to detail.
• Familiarity with project management software and POS systems i.e., Rendezvous, Foodbuy, Lolly etc. or a willingness to learn such
