Front Office Receptionist Portmarnock Resort & Jameson Golf Links
We have a fantastic new vacancy for anybody with a flair in exceeding guests expectations in our Front Office Department.

To act as the first point of contact within the Hotel for all guests enquiries from arrival to departure and throughout and providing the most exceptional experience for our guests.

*Responsibilities Of The Role:*

* Carry out all tasks in accordance with procedures as outlined in the Front Office Standards Manual.
* Ensure that following check-in, all guests are directed to their room and the hotel & golf links facilities are explained, as per Hotel Standard.
* Ensure all tasks and checklists are actioned and completed during shift.
* Have full knowledge of all current rates and products available in the hotel & golf links.
* Ensure that all reservations are taken accurately and with all necessary information received from and given to the guest.
* Bring customer comments or any issues to the attention of your Manager / Supervisor.
* Maintain effective communications with all Departments with specific attention to Reservations, Housekeeping, Night Audit and Concierge.
* Ensure a full handover is given and received at the change of each shift.

*The Ideal Candidate Should Have The Following:*

* Knowledge of OPERA / OPERA CLOUD or any PMS desirable but not essential.
* Candidates should be able to demonstrate a successful track record in operational and people management and have the ability and confidence to make effective business decisions throughout busy functions.
* Ability to work well under pressure.
* Excellent timekeeping, communication skills and the ability to work on your own initiative.
* Previous experience in a customer facing role.
* Fluent English, both written & spoken essential.
* Excellent customer service skills essential.
