Job Summary
We are looking for a Social Media Rights Management Specialist to ensure our licensed video
content and copyright material is protected across social and digital platforms. This person will be
responsible for managing social rights CMS platforms; ensuring reporting, and communication with
various internal and external stakeholders; and meeting our high standards for quality. Drawing on
your passion for data-driven work, social media knowledge, and strong communication skills, you
will help drive Storyful’s business on the content, social, and business front. This candidate will
report to the Senior Manager of Audience and Social.
Responsibilities:
● Provide copyright protection for all Storyful licensors
● Handle daily maintenance of the YouTube, Facebook and X CMS
● Handle communication between internal and external stakeholders
● Maintain internal reporting
● Work through IP ownership conflicts with third parties
● Stay up to date on the YouTube compliance and policy changes
● Build new business processes
● Keep up to date with best practice within our Rights Management department
● Assist with inbound claims relating to Storyful’s business, especially with IP claims,
including factual research, communication with internal and external resources, and
negotiation with claimants and their representatives all the way through to

● 1+ year experience in an editorial function.
● Understanding of social platforms.

● Experience in managing, maintaining, and creating reporting.
