Supply Chain Manager
This is a senior strategic role responsible for implementing and coordinating strategic supply chain management initiatives that support the wider business's strategic goals. He/She will be responsible for building and maintaining our industry-leading supply chain while managing associated risks. He/She will work closely with other team members and key internal stakeholders to deliver the group’s procurement and supply chain strategy.
You will be:
1. Working openly and collaboratively with all business units, procurement colleagues, and our supply chain to ensure the function delivers against departmental and business objectives.
2. Working closely with relevant BU Directors and Commercial teams to research and analyze new supply chains in new geographies, conducting due diligence and data collection.
3. Building and strengthening key supply chain relationships to promote collaborative working.
4. Negotiating commercial agreements with preferred supply chain partners on behalf of the business.
5. Negotiating strategic partnership agreements with selected supply chain partners.
6. Measuring compliance with PSAs in conjunction with Procurement and Commercial colleagues. Optimizing the use of all Sisk Preferred Agreements.
7. Ensuring full uptake of our internal supply chain performance scoring system and generating relevant reports for each BU.
8. Resolving day-to-day service issues with our supply chain to ensure minimal disruption to the construction process.
9. Reviewing and enhancing product and service offerings of preferred supply chain agreements in line with changing business demands.
10. Managing our Supply Chain Prequalification and onboarding process.
11. Promoting and developing Supply Chain Engagement Programmes with each BU as needed.
12. Developing and maintaining a monthly reporting dashboard on procurement performance against the strategic plan.
You will have:
1. Proven experience delivering strategic procurement support or solutions.
2. High attention to detail and strong numerical and analytical skills.
3. Strong commercial, financial, and negotiation skills.
4. Understanding of contractual legal terms and conditions.
5. Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build constructive relationships quickly.
7. Good knowledge of procurement tools, systems, and processes.
8. Proficiency in Coins, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint.
9. IIPMM, CIPS, RICS, SCSI qualifications or equivalent.
