Your Responsibilities
Lockton's employee benefits business is looking to make a small number of acquisitions; as a result of these acquisitions and Lockton's organic growth, we will have a large number of individual clients and prospects requiring financial planning support.
The purpose of the Financial Planning Consultant will be to deliver customer-focused financial planning advice to individual customers in relation to their retirement planning and their broader financial wellbeing; to develop and grow a strong portfolio of individual clients and support the delivery of member services into corporate clients. The role is a senior position and will report to the Head of Financial Planning.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will need to have strong experience in delivering financial planning advice to individuals; you will need to demonstrate a track record in meeting commercial/ financial targets and be a self-starter with a strong business development capability.
We are looking for individuals with the following knowledge and skills:
- Strong people skills and substantial experience in building client relationships
- Relevant experience in financial services with a specific focus on Individual financial advice and Group employee benefits
- A deep understanding of financial, pension and investment products
- A passionate focus on delivering for customers
- A strong team ethos and able to assist in developing junior staff
- The role holder will be required to have QFA status and ideally have CFP status
