The goal is to provide independent living skills, personal growth and leisure activities in line with the New Directions Standards for Day Services.
We promote personal development, community inclusion, positive relationships and self-advocacy to help each individual reach their full potential.
1. Develop strong supportive relationships with service users, identifying their strengths, needs and goals.
2. Serve as a Key Worker, implementing Person-Centred Plans and maintaining records as required.
3. Support individuals and groups to engage with their community through programmes and activities that foster growth and inclusion.
Requirements
* Minimum QQI Level 5 (full award) in Health or Social Care (or equivalent).
* Familiarity with various intellectual disabilities including Autism.
* Awareness of New Directions Standards for Day Services.
* At least 1 year's experience in a relevant setting with proven ability to implement Person-Centred Plans.
* Strong report writing, IT and interpersonal skills.
* Full manual driving licence.
