Cyber Threat Intelligence & Alerting Strategy Manager Location: Ireland Full-Time | DOE A large technology-led organisation with a strong global footprint is expanding its cyber defence capabilities and is looking for someone to take ownership of how threat intelligence is translated into meaningful alerting and detection outcomes.
This role sits at the intersection of research, product capability and operational use, focusing on shaping how emerging threats are identified and acted upon across a broad customer base.
You'll work closely with internal security teams, data specialists and product groups to refine alerting logic, introduce new data sources, and help guide the direction of future detection models.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys combining hands-on threat knowledge with strategic influence, helping ensure that customers receive timely and relevant security insights.
What You'll Be Doing Develop and refine alerting approaches across multiple cyber threat areas.
Identify emerging trends and ensure they are reflected in detection logic.
Work with data and engineering teams to integrate new intelligence feeds.
Support improvements in how alerts are prioritised and delivered.
Provide subject matter input on threat areas such as exploitation, malware and phishing.
Assist with evaluations of new detection methodologies and tooling.
Collaborate with stakeholders across research, product and customer-facing teams.
What You'll Need Strong experience in threat research, CTI, or alerting/detection design.
Good awareness of threat trends, vulnerabilities and exploitation methods.
Familiarity with platforms such as SIEM, SOAR or threat intelligence tooling.
Ability to interpret diverse intelligence sources and convert them into actionable outputs.
Comfortable working across multiple teams and managing competing priorities.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, OSCP, GIAC) would be beneficial.
