Youll work with the operations Manager to manage the full purchase order process, ensuring accurate stock control and timely procurement.
Youll be a key player in a growing business, confident and proactive.
This position blends purchasing with stock organisation, youll be comfortable using stock systems, communicating with suppliers and managing email correspondence.
Youll also spend time in the warehouse, monitoring stock locations and ensuring everything runs smoothly.
Responsibilities Collaborate with the Operations Manager to manage costs and monitor backorders effectively.
Arrange supplier deliveries and coordinate with carriers to ensure timely transportation.
Maintain accurate product data, track orders from placement through to delivery and keep schedules aligned for both sales and warehouse teams.
Handle customs documentation, calculate landed costs and source competitive shipping rates.
Oversee branch stock levels, conduct regular cycle counts and work closely with warehouse staff to maintain precise stock locations.
Correct discrepancies promptly while managing goods-in and returns processes.
Coordinate full stock takes and ensure smooth operations across all inventory activities.
Calculate and process purchase orders based on current stock levels and sales forecasts.
