Electrical Process Engineer Job Summary
A challenging opportunity exists for an experienced Electrical Process Engineer to join our team in Cork. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and safe operation of our food production facility.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform electrical maintenance on production lines, utilities and process equipment.
* Diagnose and repair PLC, automation, drives and control issues.
* Complete Preventive Maintenance tasks and maintain accurate documentation.
* Support upgrades, installations and optimization projects.
* Contribute to energy, reliability and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with food safety, quality and H&S standards.
* Support audits and inspections.
Requirements:
* Degree in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of experience in food/FMCG/pharma/high-volume manufacturing.
* Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostics skills.
* Experience with PLCs, automation, drives and sensors.
* Knowledge of GMP/HACCP (advantageous).
* Ability to work shifts and respond to call-outs.
* Team-focused with good communication skills.
