Job Title: Senior Lending Officer
About the Role:
The Lending Manager will play a pivotal role in enhancing and growing the credit union's loan book while ensuring lending policies align with regulatory requirements. This position demands strong analytical skills, effective leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of financial regulations.
* Lead the lending team to ensure efficient and compliant lending practices
* Analyze and mitigate risk associated with loans
* Foster relationships with stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives
Required Skills and Qualifications:
A minimum QFA qualification or Professional Bankers designation is essential, along with a Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a results-driven lending role and 3 years of people management experience. Strong credit analysis and underwriting skills, excellent communication abilities, and financial literacy are also required.
