SENIOR INSTRUMENTATION & CONTROLS ENGINEER - DUBLIN OR CORK

The successful candidate will work on data centres, industrial, commercial, oil and gas, and pharma projects. Experience in delivering European data centres and mission‑critical projects is required, with additional sector experience in process pharmaceuticals, healthcare, commercial labs, or clean rooms desirable.
Role Responsibilities
Manage full instrumentation and controls design on all projects of all sizes.
Fulfil I&C design work, including P&ID markups, instrument data sheets, control valve sizing, installation detailed I/O lists, ATEX calculations, URS creation, control schematics, loop diagrams, and PLC/DCS specifications.
Prepare and review I&C drawings.
Provide quality control for electrical engineering projects as requested.
Conduct equipment specification.
Organise, plan, and execute multiple tasks against tight schedules.
Control project cost.
Manage both project teams and cross‑functional teams within the existing organisational structure.
Lead change in new technologies.
Mentor and develop the team.
Travel to client and project locations as required to represent the company for meetings and surveys.
Role Requirements
5+ years as a Senior I&C Engineer covering the duties outlined above.
BEng in Electrical/Electronics, Instrument Physics, or equivalent.
Chartered status or progress towards chartership is an advantage.
Excellent communication skills.
Full Irish driving licence required.
Fluent in English and eligible to work in Ireland.
Background in consulting or construction preferred.
Good understanding of international working and business operations of a global consultancy.
