, you will be central to delivering an outstanding coffee experience. Your primary role will be to skilfully brew and serve our exclusive coffee blend to perfection. If you're an ardent coffee enthusiast who enjoys creating positive customer interactions, we'd love to have you on board.
Key Responsibilities:
Coffee Crafting:
* Expertly prepare a range of coffee drinks, such as espresso, lattes, and cappuccinos.
* Ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
Customer Engagement:
* Extend warm greetings to customers and engage in friendly conversations.
* Share insights about our unique coffee offerings.
Equipment Maintenance:
* Routinely maintain and clean coffee brewing equipment.
* Promptly report any equipment issues to ensure optimal functionality.
Coffee Bean Knowledge:
* Possess an in-depth understanding of coffee bean characteristics, extraction methods, and grind settings.
* Adjust grind settings to achieve the desired flavour profile for each coffee preparation.
Cleanliness and Organization:
* Maintain the coffee station in impeccable condition, well-organized, and fully stocked.
* Adhere rigorously to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Dessert Presentation:
* Oversee the dessert counter, including display, stock rotation, and cleanliness.
* Demonstrate expertise in all products, particularly regarding allergens and food intolerances.
* Present desserts to a high standard.
Cash Handling:
* Accurately process payments, handle cash, and maintain a secure cash drawer.
Efficiency in High Demand:
* Work efficiently, especially during busy periods, to minimize customer wait times.
Cross Training:
* Exhibit adaptability by learning other aspects of Front of House roles.
* Maintain a flexible attitude in taking on other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
* Minimum 1 year of prior experience as a Barista is essential.
* A genuine passion for coffee and a commitment to upholding our high standards.
